USPA NEWS - The Spanish capital will once again bring together the world's equestrian elite for an edition marked by the return of the FEI Driving World Cup™ and the consolidation of its multidisciplinary character.
Madrid is set to return to the epicenter of international equestrian sport from November 26 to 29 with the staging of Mutua Madrid Horse Week 2026, an edition that marks the comeback of one of the most prestigious events on the equestrian calendar following its hiatus in 2025. Halls 12 and 14 at IFEMA Madrid will host a gathering that will bring together the world's elite across several equestrian disciplines, once again showcasing the Spanish capital as a global reference point for the horse world.

Established since its debut in 2012 as one of Europe's premier equestrian events, the competition enters a new era backed by Mutua Madrileña as title sponsor. The Madrid-based show will once again bring together riders, horses, teams and officials from across the globe in a setting that combines top-class sport, exhibitions and activities for all audiences.
On the sporting front, the major novelty of this year's edition will be the addition of a third FEI World Cup competition. Alongside the traditional Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ and FEI Dressage World Cup™, which will once again make Madrid a must-stop venue for the world's leading equestrian athletes, the FEI Driving World Cup™ returns to the event for the first time since 2015. The inclusion further strengthens the multidisciplinary nature of the show and broadens the competitive offering of a unique event on the international equestrian scene.

The sporting program will also feature a CSI 1* International Show Jumping competition designed to provide opportunities for amateur riders and emerging talents in the jumping discipline. Through this initiative, the organizers aim to combine the presence of the sport's biggest international stars with the promotion of the next generation seeking to establish themselves at the highest level.
Beyond the sporting action, the Madrid venue will once again become a major meeting point for the equestrian industry. The traditional Horse Fair will bring together companies specializing in technical equipment, saddlery, equestrian fashion, animal nutrition, accessories and horse-related services. Visitors will also enjoy a continuous schedule of exhibitions and demonstrations in the popular Non-Stop Arena, where entertainment will run throughout the day.

The main arena will welcome back some of the event's most iconic attractions. Among them are the ever-popular Pony Turf by AON, the spectacular Six Bars competition and the crowd-favorite Jump & Drive by Porsche, a contest that combines speed, precision and entertainment and consistently ranks among the highlights of the week.

The visitor experience will be enhanced by an extensive food and beverage offering, one of the distinctive features of the Madrid event. Various dining areas will allow guests to enjoy a full day centered around equestrian sport, while the exclusive VIP zone will once again feature a premium culinary experience tailored to high-end audiences.
Figures recorded in recent editions underline the significance of the event: more than 45,000 visitors, nearly 300 horses and over 40,000 square meters dedicated to the equestrian sector. These numbers have helped establish Madrid Horse Week as one of the Spanish capital's leading sporting and entertainment events, as well as a benchmark gathering for professionals, enthusiasts and horse lovers alike.

With less than two months to go before its opening, Mutua Madrid Horse Week is already shaping up to be one of the major sporting events of the European autumn season. The combination of three FEI World Cups, international competition, entertainment, lifestyle experiences and equestrian culture will once again turn Madrid into a global showcase for the sport, during four days that promise to bring together the world's leading riders and thousands of fans from across Europe.
